Dragon Wyck Embroidery
Hello my name is William Hammond founder of Dragon Wyck Embroidery and I would like to take a moment to tell you a little about myself.
I am from a long line of crafters and professional seamstresses. I have a little of everything in my family time line my mother was the first person to teach me how to sew when I was 16 when I first started playing in a L.A.R.P group called Amtgard and for the last 12 years I've made this like medieval tunics, banners, belt favors, etc.
My mother has been crafting from a early age and is still doing things like wood burning to this day. She has always made my push my creative talent to new heights.
More on my family history my grandmother was Leveta Crager was the first to make the DALLAS COWBOYS CHEERLEADERS outfits she made them by hand and did all the tailoring from 1972 till 1996 when she passed away.
My great grandmother Odie Lee Jones from the 1920s till her time of passing in 1986 sold home made quilts and dresses from her home witch helped support her family through the great depression.
And now I wish to try and pass down the family talent to the next generation my two kids are starting to want to learn and I've been teaching them like my mom and grand mom did me.
