Ever since I was first handed a pencil, I have been sketching goofy cartoon characters and heroic superheroes, because I wanted to live in their worlds. But, now, I sometimes see those same characters in gruesome, provocative, action-packed, and meaningless artwork that I wouldn’t want my younger self to see. As a professional artist, I want to hold onto the innocence, morality, and inspiration that I grew up with in the cartoons and comics that I enjoyed. In my art, I create stories that evoke a sense of wonder, admiration, and imagination in people of all ages. The old are reminded of their childhood while the young are inspired to greatness. I have always created the art that I want to see, but my favorite moments are when someone else enjoys my artwork just as much.
